From idea to ordination
How it all began
While working at Innsbruck State Hospital, Dr. Sparl was already considering setting up her own dental practice. She moved back to Vorarlberg and decided at the end of 2004 to establish herself as a dentist in Bregenz. Financing remains a challenge for young dentists today, because what few people know is that a treatment room contains between €100,000 and €150,000 worth of technology and equipment, depending on the design.
2004
The idea
In the fall of 2004, the idea arose to set up their own dental practice and return to Vorarlberg. An opportunity arose to move to the provincial capital of Bregenz and occupy the third floor of the newly constructed "Haus am Hafen" building.
2005
practice opening
On May 18, 2005, we were the first to move into the "Haus am Hafen" and open for business. Since the building was not yet completely finished, patients initially had to enter the building via temporary access points.
2006
contract with health insurance companies
About a year later, the opportunity arose to obtain a contract with the health insurance companies. We seized this opportunity and have since been both a health insurance practice and a private practice.
2020
Renovation and expansion
After 15 years, it was time to consider redesigning the practice. At the end of summer 2020, the decision was made not only to completely renovate and remodel the practice, but also to expand it to its current size.
2022
3D technology
It is important to us to always keep our finger on the pulse. By 2022, 3D technology will be so advanced that the last remaining analog workflows will also be digitized and replaced by the latest 3D technology.
2023
Introduction to AI systems
In 2023, the latest AI technologies were so impressive that we decided to equip all imaging procedures with AI technology. After all, the human eye can only recognize around 65 shades of color, while AI can recognize 65,000. Today, every X-ray image undergoes additional assessment by an AI system, thereby supporting decision-making.
2025
Digital 3D printing
We are taking dental prostheses to the next level. The use of state-of-the-art 3D printing technology opens up completely new possibilities for high-tech dental care – more precise and faster than ever before.
