Holistic Dentistry

Holistic dentistry does not view teeth, jaws, and the oral cavity in isolation, but rather as an integral part of the entire body. It assumes that disorders in the dental system can have an impact on the entire organism—for example, on the immune system, metabolism, or nervous system—and vice versa. It therefore combines traditional dental treatments with biological, naturopathic, and complementary approaches.

The spectrum includes, among other things, interference field remediation (e.g., removal of chronically stressed or root-treated teeth), amalgam removal under protective measures, material testing for compatibility, ozone therapies to promote healing, and accompanying homeopathic or herbal treatments.

The aim of holistic dentistry is to promote oral health in harmony with the whole body and to support healing processes on a physical, energetic, and biological level.
