Ceramic Dental Restorations

Ceramic, as a metal-free dental prosthesis, perfectly mimics the color and translucency of natural teeth right down to the core and is becoming increasingly popular, not only among patients. Thanks to its fracture resistance, ceramic can be used in various types of dental prostheses, such as crowns, dentures, bridges, inlays, and implant abutments.

Ceramic dentures closely resemble real teeth in terms of color, hardness, and light transmission, and are not recognizable as artificial when laughing or speaking. Ceramic has different properties compared to metal. Ceramic dental prostheses are metal-free and therefore feel different to metal; they are lighter and conduct temperature stimuli better. In addition, all-ceramic is very compatible and does not put any strain on the body (good biocompatibility).
